Fortune Buddy ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

• Account information you provide: nickname, avatar, date of birth, gender, and MBTI type.
• Content you enter: tarot questions, dream descriptions, reading results, and chat messages.
• Purchase information: order and transaction records when you buy stars or subscriptions.
• Device & log data: device model, OS version, crash logs, and usage statistics.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide tarot, fortune, dream, and chat services.
• To personalize results based on your profile and history.
• To process payments and manage your virtual items.
• To improve the app and keep it secure.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help run the app, such as cloud storage, payment processors, and analytics providers. These partners may process data under our instructions and applicable agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law.

4. Third-Party Services

• Sign-in: Google, Apple, WeChat
• Payments: Google Play Billing, WeChat Pay
• Analytics & Advertising: Google AdMob and similar SDKs

5. Data Retention & Security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. We use standard security measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data.

6. Your Choices

• You can review and edit your profile in the app.
• You can delete your account anytime in Settings; see Section 7 for the deletion process and the data to be removed.
• You may request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may submit a request to delete your account and all associated personal data collected by this application at any time.

How to submit an account-deletion request

1. Send an email to our official support address: mindfriends79@gmail.com.
2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request – Fortune Buddy".
3. In the email body, provide your registered account information (registered email or user ID) so we can verify your identity.

Once we receive a valid request, we will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 calendar days.

Data to be deleted

Upon account deletion, we will permanently erase:

• Your application account profile;
• User-generated content associated with this account;
• Personal identifiable data linked to your account.

Data that may be retained

We may retain certain data where necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or security requirements, for the period required by applicable law. Once the retention purpose is fulfilled, such data will also be erased.

If you signed in with Google, deleting your Fortune Buddy account does not delete your Google account. To manage or delete your Google account, please visit the Google Account official page.

8. Children

The app is intended for users aged 14 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect.
